Meet Jana Sader, Lebanese contestant at Miss Universe 2017

Perla Helou was crowned Miss Lebanon 2017

. The first runner-up, Jana Sader, was a contestant in Miss Universe 2017. The 66th edition of Miss Universe took place in Las Vegas on November 26. Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa won the crown. Georgina Rizk, who is Miss Lebanon for the year 1971, is the only Lebanese who won the title of Miss Universe. Nouhad El Cabbabe was among the top 15 in 1962, and Marcèlle Herro was among the top 12 in 1973.

The handicrafts have the shapes of phoenixes. The Phoenix is the symbol of Beirut which got destroyed and rebuilt seven times.
