The Lebanese athlete Karim Harik won the Pro European Kickboxing Champion title, which was held in Bologna, Italy, after defeating his Indian counterpart in three rounds.

Harik usually competes in the under 65 kg weight category, but he entered the most difficult challenge, as he participated in the 70 kg category competitions for the first time in his career.

His competitor was about 10 kg bigger than him, which made the organizers propose to cancel the fight. However, the Lebanese athlete refused and decided to go on with the fight and win the title. which he did, winning 2 gold medals.
