American singer and actress Keke Palmer stunned her viewers in a gown designed by Lebanese fashion designer Georges Hobeika in her latest music video released in October 2020.

The dress was part of Hobeika’s Spring 2020 collection. Its luminous and shiny qualities with a flashy slit on the side illuminated the 3-minute video “Dreamcatcher.”

Hobeika’s Spring 2020 collection Escaping the Party drew inspiration from Sardinia, Italy.

Hobeika describes it as “elegant and feminine outfits,” all the while envisioning “Sardinia illuminated by the Virgilian sky, the sparkling reflections of the turquoise Mediterranean, and the glistening sensuality of golden sand.”

The collection was presented in The Théâtre National de Chaillot Couture in Paris during Haute Couture Week in January.

Back in July 2020, another celebrity dazed her fans with a gown by Hobeika in an almost surreal photoshoot. US pop star Nicki Minaj rocked her baby bump in a photograph revealed on her Instagram, wearing one of Hobeika’s ethereal, glittering veils.

A native of Baskinta, Georges Hobeika launched his fashion career from Lebanon, in 1995. Supported by his mother and some specialized tailors, Hobeika rose to fame with his collection presented in Paris in 2001, later opening Maison GEORGES HOBEIKA.

In January 2017, Maison GEORGES HOBEIKA was elected Guest Member of La Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture.

The designer with over a million followers has been a go-to by famed stars and celebrities for a while.

He’s dressed many huge names, from top celebrities to supermodels, such as Beyonce, Chrissy Tiegen, Sara Sampaio, Cardi B, Hailee Steinfeld, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, and many others.

His recent fall/winter 2020-21 collection Madam President was streamed live from the magnificent abandoned site of Oscar Niemeyer in Tripoli, on both Instagram and the website of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, for Paris’s Haute Couture Digital Fashion Week.
