Lebanese award-winning contemporary artist Kristel Bechara has quickly established herself to become a rising star of the Middle Eastern world.
Her artwork consists of beautiful creations, including a mix of mediatic photographs and fantastic paintings portraying the different aspects of the human condition.
Based in Dubai, Bechara has also showcased her artworks in different parts of the world, namely Tokyo, Milano, Brussels, and France.
In 2018, she received the UAE Resident Artist Award at the World Art Dubai for her “Beauty in Diversity” collection.
Kristel Bechara has made history as the first female artist in the Middle East to launch a painting only to be available as a non-fungible token (NFT).
The Lebanese artist is now releasing a series of limited-edition paintings bought and redeemable as NFT on OpenSea, one of the world’s largest digital marketplace for crypto collectibles.
In that, she stands as another avant-garde Lebanese artist, along with fashion designer Rami Kadi and artist Ginger Potter (Le Ralph), to embrace the futuristic world of OpenSea.
And they’re not the only Lebanese heading to conquer that arena. Earlier in January, the Metapreneurs with Lebanese founders, the biggest elite community of successful entrepreneurs in the Metaverse, was sold out with $6 million generated and 6000 holders.
