LADE Recorded A Series Of Violations Since The Opening Of Lebanon’s Voting Process

@LADELEB

On Sunday, after just a few hours of opening the voting stations, the Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) exposed a series of key violations.

The violations include chaos in many voting stations, the press not being able to cover the electoral process, and lateness in opening the polling station in Jbeil for more than 45 minutes.

The organization added that some voting lists were sent to Jbeil (Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate) rather than Bent Jbeil (Nabatiye Governorate).

A LADE monitor in Tyre, South Lebanon, was also threatened by delegates from the Amal Movement of Nabih Berri.

LADE had previously issued key reforms that should have been taken during the voting process, however, they were not implemented, which is now leading to numerous problems.

Individuals can report any irregularities and violations by contacting LADE on the following numbers: 70298965 and/or 01333713.
