LADE Monitors Withdrew After Threatened By Amal And Hezbollah Reps In Tyre

This Sunday morning, the parliamentary elections of 2022 began in Lebanon, with the opening of polling stations for voters across the country.

However, the electoral process has not started without violations and problems.

According to LADE, their monitors had to withdraw from the polling stations in Al Ramadeya- Tyre after being threatened by Amal Movement representatives. In addition to their monitors in Mazraat Tout- Baalback after being threatened by Hezbollah representatives.

In this context, LADE calls for the interference of the Ministry of Interior to facilitate the monitoring teamwork and ensure everyone’s safety.
