Khedne Maak, or Go Green with Friends, won first place in the Google Solution Challenge 2022 MENA after it was shortlisted at an online event.
Khedne Maak is a carpooling platform addressing Lebanon’s environmental and economic crisis.
The idea was initiated by Lebanese American University (LAU) engineering students, Georgio El Khoury, Nour Mikhael, and Kevin Aoun.
The innovative platform was launched with the support of Dr. Wissam Fawaz, and also contributes to two UN SDGs: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Responsible Consumption and Production.
