The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lifted the previously imposed restrictions on visas for Lebanese nationals living abroad.
The suspension, which lasted for about a month, was a source of confusion for many, as travel agencies reported difficulties fulfilling their clients’ requests for UAE visitor visas.
The reinstatement of the visa process was confirmed by Fouad Chehab Dandan, Lebanon’s Ambassador to the UAE.
Dandan noted that the resolution came about as a result of concerted efforts and diplomatic dialogue between the two nations.
Effective immediately, Lebanese nationals can apply for a UAE visitor visa either through embassy offices or authorized travel agencies.
The easing of restrictions marks a return to regular visa procedures and reinstates travel access to the UAE for the Lebanese diaspora.
