The Lebanese-owned Amelia Restaurant & Lounge in Dubai, UAE, was nominated for two awards, in two categories, on the 13th edition of the BBC Good Food Awards.
The nominations are for the Best New Restaurant in the UAE, and the Best Fine Dining Restaurant in Dubai.
Originating from Beirut, the renowned restaurant is often described as one of the best nightlife destinations in the region.
It was first established in Mar Mikhael, in a 500-years old historical building transformed into a lounge, offering a gastronomy experience “born of Japanese and Peruvian origins,” as well as cocktails and the best music.
The restaurant then opened in downtown Dubai’s Address Sky View.
The BBC Good Food Middle East Magazine Awards 2022 celebrates the region’s finest culinary experience, while also recognizing F&B institutions based on a customer’s stamp of approval.
The top 10 nominees in each category will be announced on August 30, 2022, and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, on a date to be announced soon.
