Vero is an ad-free application that allows users to share photos, links, music, books, movies, and places with friends.
The app is currently topping the App Store’s ranking of free apps. Also, Vero jumped from 99 to number one in the UK’s App Store in the past week.
Ayman Hariri is the CEO and co-founder of Vero. He is the son of the former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri. He developed this app to offer users an authentic experience.
This could be Instagram’s new rival since it does not show ads and displays the posts in chronological order. Instagram users have been frustrated recently since the app changed its algorithm to highlight posts that have more likes and comments.

Vero also values privacy. The app lets you share your posts in four designations: close friends, friends, acquaintances, or followers.
