Lebanese people are always making us proud when they go abroad! Michel Abboud, a Lebanese architect, had the honor to receive two Architizer A+ Awards in 2016 and 2017 for two buildings that he designed. The first building is Unilux, a showroom that has won the best design award. In addition to that, Abboud designed a building in Beirut called Wave for which he won an Architizer A+ Award since it is the first building with a parametric design to have been designed with the latest technologies. In 2015, Abboud has received the James Beard Award for the most beautiful restaurant design. The restaurant, located in the United States, is called Workshop Kitchen + Bar.

To note, Architizer A+ Award is one of the most important awards in the field of architecture. This program is based in the United States. However, Michel Abboud is not only a star in the U.S. On The Palm Jumeirah, an island in Dubai, the Lebanese architect has designed the biggest, the most luxurious, and the most expensive residential area in Dubai which has an area of 100,000 m2. In fact, it has its own aquatic center and a marina. In order to get an idea of how fancy this project is, you need to know more about the penthouses. The lucky people who will be privileged enough to live in the penthouses will enjoy their own garden, an Olympic pool, and a heliport. The whole project costs 2 billion and 700 million $.
