Lebanese army units carried out a raid in Mashghara, western Bekaa, in search of wanted persons, following the clashes between the Ammar and Sharaf families, which resulted in one dead and two wounded, according to NNA.

The army took strict measures by assigning fixed and circumstantial checkpoints and supporting patrols for the raids.

Clashes stopped completely and calm returned to the town.

High-level contacts are being conducted, led by the leadership of Hezbollah and the Amal Movement, to end the tragic incident and prevent a renewal of clashes between the two families.
