The Lebanese Army has apprehended a Syrian national, identified as (M.M.), for allegedly murdering another Syrian, (A.A.), in the area of Dibbiyeh. The arrest was made by an intelligence patrol in the town of Baq’ata in the Shouf region.
The murder occurred on June 12, 2023, and involved the use of a knife in a restaurant. The arrest revealed that the suspect had entered Lebanon illegally. Upon searching the suspect’s residence, authorities found the mobile phone belonging to the deceased.
The seized items have been handed over, and an investigation is underway under judicial supervision.
