Lebanese Army Forbids The Use Of Drones Over Several Areas On Specific Days

The Lebanese Army Command announced on their official website and in a tweet that drones are prohibited over the areas of Beirut, Dahye, Yarzeh-Faiyadiyi, Baabda, Hazmieh, and Aley on the 20th and 22nd of November.

No specific reasons were given after this announcement.

It is to note that users of drones unregistered with the Lebanese Army are also subject to prosecution according to Lebanese Laws.

The law requires that people registering their drones must specify where and when they intend to operate as well as the flights’ purpose.
