Lebanese Army Stops 1,500 Syrians Trying To Illegally Enter Lebanon

The Lebanese Army Command has released a statement detailing its recent operations to combat illegal infiltration and human smuggling.

According to the statement, army units successfully prevented approximately 1,500 Syrians from crossing the Lebanese-Syrian border during various operations this week.

The Army Command also issued a warning to citizens, cautioning them against involvement in smuggling activities. Such involvement could lead to legal prosecution.

The statement further emphasized that the army will intensify its efforts to apprehend those involved and hand them over to the relevant authorities.
