A unit of the Lebanese Army came under fire during a maneuver in Al-Sharawneh area, Bekaa.
The army forces responded to the source of fire, killing one and injuring another among the attackers. No injuries were reported among the Lebanese soldiers.
Al-Sharawneh area has been a focal point of multiple raids by the Lebanese army lately, due to the huge number of illegal actions that took place in the area from drug smuggling to illegal weapons dealing.
