In a continuation of the civil unrest that has gripped Lebanon, buses were transporting protestors to the US Embassy in Beirut before being stopped by the Lebanese army.
Although the demonstrators are still a few km away from the embassy, however, the army is trying to prevent more groups from forming and further vandalization of the neighborhoods in the area.
This comes a day after shops in Dbayeh and Awkar were set ablaze by protestors.
