Rawia Zantout’s painting is titled “The Eye of the Storm.” It is painted with ten layers of acrylic paint.

Here’s the description: “The world of turbulence, confusion, disorder, unrest we are surrounded by. Aren’t we all directly involved in this tumultuous situation. The eye, the center, the calmest section of any hurricane. The eye is calm because the strong surface winds that converge towards the center never reached it. I am safe; I am in control. Your love surrounds me in the eye of the storm.”
