Three Lebanese Athletes Achieved Advanced Ranking In The U23 Mediterranean Athletics Championships In Italy

Three Lebanese athletes participated in the U23 Mediterranean Athletics Championships, in Pescara, Italy, held between September 10 and September 11, 2022.

Lebanese athletes Haya Kobrosly, Marc-Anthony Ibrahim, and Munir Kabbara achieved advanced rankings, as follows:

  • Haya Kobrosly took the 6th place after clocking 12.08s, wind: +0.8m/s, in the 100m;
  • Munir Kabbara also took the 6th place as he marked 4:17.08 m. in the 1500m;
  • Marc-Anthony Ibrahim scored 5th place, marking 52.17s in the 400mH.

It is worth mentioning that Marc-Anthony Ibrahim previously set a new record during the Lebanese Open Clubs Athletics Federation Cup 2022, clocking 50.91s. in the 400mH.

Ibrahim, along with Jana Termos, also succeeded in setting a new national record in the 400mH Men as he clocked 50.97s during Inter Lebanon meeting.
