Three Lebanese Athletes Scored Good Results At The Ironman Race In Italy

Lebanese runners Wissam Kheir, Marwan Matar, and Issam Abi Saleh participated in the Ironman race, which took place in Cervia, Emilia Romagna, in Italy.

The race included 3 sports: a 3.8 km swimming, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km run, in which the players have to exercise without stopping.

The 3 Lebanese runners scored good results during the Ironman races, here are the details:

  • Wissam Kheir achieved a swimming time of 1:21:39, a cycling time of 5:17:48, and a running time of 3:17:03.

Total: 10 hours 12 minutes 15 seconds.

  • Marwan Matar recorded a swimming time of 1:07:06, a cycling time of 5:07:21, and a running time of 3:44:22.

Total: 10 hours 16 minutes 31 seconds.

  • Issam Abi Saleh scored a swimming time of 1:29:20, a cycling time of 5:52:48, and a running time of 4:48:54.

Total: 12 hours 33 minutes and 4 seconds.
