The 24-years-old Lebanese electrical engineer Aya Mouallem was named the Woman of The Month by ONU Femmes France (UN Women France).
Aya is a Lebanese electrical engineering Ph.D. candidate who advocates for diversity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
She is the co-founder of All Girls Code, an award-winning community-led initiative aimed at providing young women from Lebanon and the MENA region with tech-immersive programs, and recently, she launched the LebNet WiT Fellows program.
In 2021, The New York Times featured Aya Mouallem among the “10 Women Changing the Landscape of Leadership” in fields like agriculture, science, finance, and technology, and who are building an innovative path for future generations.
