The dynamic and passionate Lebanese designer, Sarah Beydoun, has been taking the world of luxury fashion with intricate craftsmanship.

Born and raised in Beirut, Sarah’s unorthodox journey into the fashion world began during the final year of her graduate degree in sociology, when she was researching at an NGO that rehabilitates women at risk and ex-female prisoners.

Later, Beydoun decided to open a business aiming to train and employ women she met in her field of work.

In May 2000, she launched Sarah’s Bag in Beirut to combine both her love of designing and her mission to empower underprivileged women with their hidden skills.

In her designs, she reflects on her exuberant, colorful, and playful personality, which shines through trendy, luxurious, and hand-crafted items, ranging from accessories to apparel.

According to the brand’s biography, Sarah’s Bag uses new materials infused in old and traditional crafts to keep the old techniques alive, while using beading, embroidery, sequin, and crocheting.

In addition to being featured in prestigious and well-known worldwide magazines, namely Vogue, Refinery29, and Harper’s Bazaar, Beydoun, along with her brand, was also featured on the Forbes List Oo Women Behind Middle Eastern Brands 2020 and 2022.

Sarah’s Bag designs were spotted in the hands of Beyonce, Amal Clooney, Queen Rania of Jordan, and Nadine Labaki, among other personalities and celebrities.
