Minister of Information Ziad al-Makari met with lawyer Hani Suleiman, who briefed him on the preparations for the cruise towards Naqoura, in adherence to the Lebanese national rights in its waters.

Suleiman said that the trip would start from Tripoli, passing through all Lebanese ports and to Naqoura.

He added, “We have come a long way in the preparations for this trip to Naqoura, and it is expected to include about 100 ships carrying the Lebanese flag, singing the national anthem, and adhering to national rights and constants.”

He talked about the goal of the trip, which is “the Lebanese declaration of adherence to its national wealth.”

“It is true that the Lebanese state said its word, but the Lebanese society, with its full of energy, vitality, and unity as well, must say its word, mainly since the call to this campaign was directed at all Lebanese regions and at all different sects.”

He called on all the Lebanese to be many at two o’clock in the afternoon of Sunday, August 28, in the town of Naqoura.

“The mayor told me that he is ready to welcome us and embrace us,” Sleiman concluded.
