Watch The Lebanese Civil Defense Just Rescued A 30 Year Old Sea Turtle

On Friday, members of the Marine Rescue Unit in the Lebanese Civil Defense were able to save a huge sea turtle and return it back to sea.

According to the Lebanese Civil Defense, the turtle was stuck inside of a vent belonging to the Al-Zahrani Power Plant in south Lebanon.

The Civil Defense worked for more than 2 hours to get the sea creature out alive.

An expert assigned by the Ministry of Health checked the turtle to ensure it was in good health before the Civil Defense returned it back into the sea.

The medical examiner determined that the turtle was more than 50 kilograms and is over 30 years old!
