The Lebanese-British Alexandra Hakim is dazzling the world with her exquisite sustainable jewelry pieces, which she beautifully creates by implementing years-grown craftsmanship and tasteful talent.

Her pieces are now gaining international interest from major magazines, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Madame Figaro.

Her jewelry items were worn by major celebrities like the singer, actress, and now fashion designer Rihanna.

In 2016, Alexandra Hakim launched her namesake brand in Beirut, and made a deep impact on the country’s jewelry scene as she was able to infiltrate the male-dominated industry.

Currently based in Madrid, Spain, Hakim first discovered her talent and love for jewelry while studying Art Foundation at Central Saint Martins in London.

Later, she pursued a BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she specialized in design innovation and developed her talent.

Alexandra Hakim’s collections are infused with sustainability and inspired by varied items, ranging from tomato stems to matchsticks found in Lebanon’s many homes.

Additionally, each of her pieces is carefully handmade using a unique skill and zero-waste items.

Hakim also uses her passion for traveling in her pieces that are influenced by Lebanon’s shore, the colorful foods found in Mexico City, and the vibrant and bright citrus groves of the Mediterranean.

The Lebanese–British jewelry maker uses a signature method as well, involving found objects and used materials to transform them into precious metals so that each piece in her gorgeous collections is unique.
