A Lebanese designer reinvented the tarboosh! The Lebanese designer Elias Al Haddad rebranded the tarboosh and made it a modern fashion accessory that could be worn by women and men. The boshie hat isthe modern tarboosh. The two stripes on either side of the hat serve as a throwback to the original tassel. The designer believes that what’s beautiful about Lebanon is how Oriental and Western styles perfectly mix.
