Along with our stunning geography, delicious food, and rich culture, Lebanese are perhaps most proud of the immensely talented fashion designers our country produces.
Their dazzling designs are found on red carpets around the world, and they have time and again proven themselves to be among the best minds in fashion. So, besides showing off their amazing SS20 collections, what are these couture geniuses up to now?
Elie Saab
Elie Saab has been reminding us of his greatness by posting throwbacks of celebrities in his designs, including Bella Hadid and Nadine Labaki.
He also recently created an Instagram highlight where, very fittingly for current times, he praises the resilience in us all and posts responses from followers about how they personally stay resilient.
Zuhair Murad
Zuhair’s Instagram gives his followers a sneak peek into his life, including his fashionable, everyday outfits.
On May 5th, he announced he was back to work, posing in front of the Zuhair Murad building. We can’t wait to see what new designs go up in the display windows!

Tony Ward has been taking this time to appreciate nature and family. He recently posted a picture of himself surrounded by the lush landscape in Faqra.

Reem has always had a beautiful eye for design, and recently she’s been revealing what gives her inspiration under the hashtag #ReemAcraInspiration.
She credits the beauty of stained glass, different forms of lighting, and particularly stunning architecture among others.
Krikor Jabotian
Krikor Jabotian has recently been a blessing in a multitude of ways.
He promoted the hashtag #StandWithCreatives to show his solidarity with other artists and creatives during these trying times, specifically those in the MENA Region.
And apart from his artistic aspect, Jabotian has been tapping into his humanitarian side. On May 1st, he announced his partnership with the Lebanese Food Bank and Beit El-Baraka, which have teamed up to distribute food boxes to families in need all across the country.
Nicolas Jebran
Nicolas Jebran has been paying homage to all the people and places he is nostalgic for, making posts to celebrate Paris, Maya Diab, and Assala.
He recently wished Gigi Hadid and Lady Gaga happy birthday along with pictures of them wearing his designs.
Similar to Jabotian, he participated in the hashtag #StandWithCreatives by including a sketch of one of his beautifully unique designs.

Georges Chakra has been using his talent for the greater good.
He recently announced that the hot pink design he created for Jennifer Lopez, worn at the American Music Awards, would be available for bidding. All proceeds will go to Direct Relief in order to support medical workers around the world.
Ziad Nakad
Along with Jabotian and Jebran, Ziad Nakad participated in the #StandWithCreatives campaign, posting a picture of himself at his 2019 Fall/Winter show.
He nominated his friends Carole Samaha, Ahlam Alshamsi, and Angham.
Rami Kadi
Even as his designs are worn by the most famous celebrities around the world, Rami Kadi is in many ways a lot like the rest of us, and he has been actively socializing on social media.
He has taken to Instagram to make a heartwarming post for Mother’s Day, wish his friends a happy birthday, and rave about how excited he is for summer- us too, Rami, us too.
