Forbes’ 30 under 30 list gathers 600 young stars in 20 different industries. In its 2018 edition, the list features a Lebanese doctor named Jawad Fares who achieved a lot in the science and healthcare category.
Dr. Fares holds a degree in Medicine from the American University of Beirut. Also, he graduated from the Lebanese University with a degree in neuroscience.
He did a lot of extensive research on injuries from cluster munitions which are weapons that release smaller explosives.
Dr. Fares eventually created the “Fares Scale of Injuries due to Cluster Munitions” that helps identify the victim’s wounds and find the best possible treatment.
