The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) selected the Lebanese Doctor Maher Ghandour as the best International Resident Member of the Month for September 2022, out of about 30 international candidates.
Each month, the AAOS recognizes a Member of the Month in each category to reflect on their diverse accomplishments, which are essential to achieve the Academy’s mission of offering the highest quality of musculoskeletal care for patients.
Maher Ghandour graduated from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the Lebanese University (LU) in 2020 and is now pursuing a University Diploma of Microsurgery at the University Saint Joseph (USJ).
Dr. Ghandour is a Research Fellow in Orthopaedic Surgery Department with the University Hospital Heidelberg in Germany and has many research papers and publications as he is an Academic Editor in the Children MDPI Journal – Orthopaedic/Trauma section.
