The 15-year-old cybersecurity prodigy Elia Tannous participated in Gitex 2022, one of the largest technology events in the Middle East, taking place in Dubai, UAE.
During the annual event, more than 5,000 companies and speakers participated, including the Lebanese Elia Tannous, who is among Gitex 2022’s youngest speakers.
Presenting at the PROW booth, Elia spoke about his distinguished experience in the field of cybersecurity and the importance of involving young people in this field, which is witnessing a global shortage of human resources.
He also highlighted several ways that could be implemented to include and support the youth in order to shorten the gap in cybersecurity.
Months ago, the two leading companies in cybersecurity, PROW, and REVOTIPS, adopted Elia Tannous as their ambassador as part of their youth mentorship program aimed at creating a system to provide a suitable environment for professional learning.
PROW’s Director, Roland Hashem, then handed the young Lebanese prodigy a certificate of appreciation with distinction in recognition of his energy and the high capabilities he demonstrated during his internship.
