Emerging Lebanese Talents Will Present At Dubai Fashion Week

Between March 24 and 28, Dubai is hosting international and regional fashion talents presenting their couture and ready-to-wear collections at the Arab Women’s Fashion Week.

The event, which is held 4 times a year for Womenswear and Menswear, is known as one of the most important fashion weeks in the world, along with New York, London, Milan, and Paris.

Emerging designers from around the world will be featuring their talents through their Fall and Winter 2022-2023 collections at the Dubai Design District (d3).

Among the countries participating are Lebanon, Egypt, Dominican Republic, Palestine, Indonesia, Russia, England, Poland, UAE, France, Jordan, and others.

Lebanon will be represented by two designers in this most awaited regional fashion event:

Aboud Jammal – 26 March

Aboud Jammal, an Esmod International Fashion University graduate, is the winner of the Beirut young fashion designers competition 1st Prize.

Based in Beirut, he interned with well-known Lebanese designers like Zuhair Murad, before earning his BA in Fashion Design in 2015.

In 2016, he founded his own Couture House, Maison Aboud Jammal, and has since then released several stunning collections.

In 2020, he participated in Paris Fashion week with his LUMINESCENT collection.

Emergency Room – 27 March

The Lebanese label, Emergency Room will present second-hand and upcycled items.

The Lebanese designer Eric founded his brand Emergency Room in 2015 where he decided to leave a fashion studio to initiate his brand in Tripoli, north of Beirut.

Since then, the emerging brand is taking over runaway after runaway.

In February 2022, the fashion brand participated in the Men’s Arab Fashion Week, in Dubai, where Emergency Room showcased bohemian and psychedelic inspired designs.
