The film focuses on Lebanon’s society being torn between peace and schism, and the complexities of love and war.
“1982” stars Mohamad Dalli and the famous Lebanese actress/director Nadine Labaki, alongside Gia Madi, Rodrigue Sleiman, Aliya Khalidi, Ghassan Maalouf, and is directed by Oualid Mouaness.
The film won at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the UNICEF 2021 prize, and the Murex D’Or 2021, among others.
