The Lebanese national basketball team has shined once again at the FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers – window 5, with many of its players showcasing a high performance, beating the strongest teams, including New Zealand and India.
Since Window 5 came to a close, FIBA featured many “stars of Asia” who exhibited memorable performances, including the Lebanese player Jad Khalil.
Khalil facilitated Lebanon’s massive win over its Indian counterpart, scoring 15 points and 9 assists, both numbers being the highest he has ever recorded in the Asian Qualifiers.
Jad Khalil also got 41% of the scores, with China’s Wang Zhelin earning 2%, Jordan’s Ahmad Al Dwairi (9%) and Dar Tucker (2%), and Kai Sotto from the Philippines with 46%.
