The Lebanese jockey Roger Chammas qualified and participated in the FEI World Championships, which was held in Herning, Denmark, between August 6 and August 14.
Around 103 jockeys participated from several countries after succeeding in the championship’s qualifiers, which were held over the past two years.
According to Arasportslb, although Chammas stumbled in the final, he achieved an advanced result in the technical field after he succeeded in jumping several obstacles with heights reaching 160 cm, which is considered record heights.
Roger Chammas shared on Instagram, “It was an unbelievable experience to be here and I am truly thankful to everyone who helped me.”
“The result in the nations cup qualifies us for the next WEG and we can’t wait to be there again, hopefully with more experience at this level,” he added.
