Growing up as a Lebanese kid is Montreal is a bit challenging, especially for those whose parents were not born in Canada and are trying to adjust to a new country. Mark Hachem, who is a Lebanese YouTuber based in Canada, summed up the challenges in a funny video!
Being fluent in three languages is all fun and games until you mix them up and confuse people. While other kids ate cafeteria food or a small packed lunch, Lebanese kids enjoyed a full meal, and by that we mean sandwiches, cooked meals, cookies, muffins, etc. Lebanese parents in Canada make sure that their kids know Arabic, so they send them to Arabic classes after school.
