Last month, a Lebanese minor named Mustafa Diab was kidnapped in Syria. He was visiting his grandparents with his mother and his younger brother. Thankfully, the young boy was released today. While the family was heading to Idlib by taxi, a group of armed men wearing military outfits stopped the car and kidnapped Mustafa, other passengers, and the driver in Tartous. The four men claimed that they belonged to the Syrian army.
It is unclear who kidnapped Mustafa and who freed him since his parents are not giving information about the incident. We are glad that Mustafa is safe.
