Two ministers in the Lebanese caretaker government decided to throw stones at Israel during a tour in the south.
This came at a time when both Lebanon and Israel are holding their breath in expectation of a resolution to the maritime border negotiations and hoping for no war triggers during this critical phase.
Minister of Energy Walid Fayyad and Minister of Social Affairs Hector Hajjar chose to ignore any possible consequences of their acts of provocation on the ongoing negotiations, which outcome will have Lebanon finally tapped into its maritime wealth.
The “stone throwing” took place during a tour of a number of ministers under the title “We are all for the south” near the Al-Abbad site on the outskirts of the town of Houla, before they moved to the Al-Mtol locality outside the town of Al-Adaise.
