A young man’s life was taken unexpectedly and tragically in Dearborn, USA, and all for his Rolex watch.
Dearborn is located in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The city as well as people in Lebanon were saddened to learn that Hassan’s life was cut short by a robber last Tuesday.
Hassam Mahmoud Salameh is a 26-year-old Lebanese man residing in the United States. Salameh is from Ebba, South Lebanon, and owns Lama’s Florist in Dearborn, Michigan.
He is beloved by the people who know him and work with him. People close to the victim described him as a good and honest person.
The Lebanese florist was shot dead in the parking lot of a restaurant called Xushi Ko, not far from the shop that Hassan and his family own. The victim was dining at said restaurant with his fiancée on Tuesday evening.
At around 9:30 p.m., when the couple was leaving, an armed individual approached them in an attempted robbery.
Hassan received deadly shots in the chest and was taken to a nearby hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
Local police investigations announced that the murderer attacked the young man with the intention of stealing his Rolex.
The news came as a shock to Salameh’s loved ones as well as the rest of the world. We offer our condolences to Hassan’s family and friends. Rest in Peace, Hassan Salameh.
