Lebanese Fashion design alumna from the Lebanese American University (LAU), and winner of the Prix du Jury 2021, Nour Takieddine, presented her design to the prestigious House of Versace.
Currently pursuing her master’s at the Parsons School of Design in Paris, Takieddine was among six students selected to present their fashion creations to the famous Italian fashion designer, Donatella Versace.
In collaboration with the prestigious school, the project aimed to showcase the next generation of designers and use their talent to re-interpret the House of Versace’s archival pieces in their way.
Nour Takieddine was the only student presenting from the Middle East. She showcased a design inspired by her Lebanese heritage, printing on her outfit images of the Lebanese iconic singer Fairuz and the Baalbeck temple, and featuring it with thousands of beads.
