The delegation of the Lebanese National Swimming Team has left for Berlin, Germany, to participate in the FINA Swimming World Cup 2022 series opener, which will be held from Friday, October 21, 2022, and Sunday, October 23, 2022.
The delegation includes coach Francois Ghattas and young swimmers, including Jad Ghaziri, Ahmad Safiya, Lynn Hajj, Taline Mrad, Rebecca Mezher, and Shayna Katra.
It is worth noting that in recent months, Lebanese swimmers have been shining abroad, as 14-year-old Lori Awad was one of the youngest swimmers to smash 4 personal records at the Fina World Junior Swimming Championship, in Peru
Lebanese swimmer Gael Khalil performed remarkably at Fina World Junior Water Swimming Championships, setting a new Lebanese record, along with 9-years-old Jessica Raslan, who won 5 medals, including 3 gold ones in the Meet 1 of the Qatar Foundation Swim Series 2022-2023.
