Young Lebanese Taekwondo Players Topped The Scores During The Beirut Open G2 2022

Young Lebanese Taekwondo players shined throughout the 4th annual Beirut Open Taekwondo Tournament, which was organized by the Lebanese Taekwondo Federation.

20 countries participated in the tournament, including Lebanon, Turkey, Congo, Ivory Coast, Iran, India, Greece, Libya, Iraq, Lesotho, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Kuwait, Morocco, Netherlands, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Syria, and Oman.

Here are Lebanon’s results during the Beirut Open G2 2022:

Day 1:

Lebanon excelled on the 1st day, which was dedicated to the category of boys and girls (12-14 years old), with the “Cedars” winning the largest number of medals.

Lebanon scored great results by winning gold medals through Edmond Hashem, Andreou Nasr, Michel Zeynoun, Giorgio Khabbaz, Patrick Aoun, Joey Youssef, Carl Kaadi, Ali Al-Sayed, Angelina Skaff, Celia Matar, Eilodi Najjar, and Estelle Al-Adass.

The “Cedars” also won silver medals: Raoul Abu Murad, Ryan Hanna, Elie Hayek, Charbel Mourad, Kevin Sawan, Giorgio Baroud, Marc Gharib, Talia Diab, Angelina Murr, Arze Wahbe, and Lynn Nehmeh.

Lebanese players who have won Bronze medals are Joe Chris Yacoub, Ali Qadri, Ryan Al Rais, Marc Al Meer, Charbel Francis, Marco Hanna, Kevin Rostom, Obeida Hajjar, Alex Metilian, Rona Sokhn, Charlene Mezher, Bisan Faraj, Maribel Skaff, Yasmina Abu Daher, Elysees Moufarrige and Antonia Hashem.

After Lebanon excelled on the first day of the Beirut Open G2 2022, Lebanese players continued to win medals on the 2nd and 3rd days, here are the details:

Day 2:

In the men’s and women’s categories, Lebanon won 3 silver medals through Rafael Kudsi (weight under 58 kg), Leticia Aoun (weight under 67 kg), and Ward Salman (weight under 73 kg).

In terms of bronze medals, Lebanon has succeeded in winning many of them through Ralph Hanina, Charbel Kirilli, Ray Rai, Anna Haddad, Carla Damian, and Maria Kara.

Day 3:

On the third and final day and in the age group (15-17 years), Lebanese Takeownod players took dozens of medals.

The gold medals went to Peter Zarifa, Fouad Zarifa, Yamen Faraj, Moujahid Sayyaj, Sarah Ibrahim, Raya Chouli, Dana Andari, and Ella Abi Farah.

The silver medals went to Carl Salem, Giorgio Mansour, Marc Nasr, Wassim Samaha, Paul Awad, Khaled Faraj, Kabi Harfoush, Elie Damian, Rita Maria Hayek, Selena Abi Hanna, Karen Andari.

The bronze medals went to Angelo Yeni, Anthony Babek, Christian Rahma, Ivan El-Badawi, Anthony Aadas, Ralph Ghoussein, Youssef Faraj, Elie Damien, Marc Kaadi, Galia Hibelian, Sarah Saliba, René Moufarrege, Nai Mazraani, Lynn Irani, Berna Lourde, Nicole Akhras, Rita Maria Raes, Karen Andari, and Serena Mezher.
