On Wednesday, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health stated that the Lebanese Red Cross (LRC) has launched a new hotline to ease the cholera outbreak.
The LRC set up the hotline 1760, operating 7 days a week, 24/24, to receive calls and provide medical consultations for both confirmed and potential cholera patients and follow up with them daily by phone with specialist doctors.
The toll-free emergency number 140 remains dedicated to transporting cholera patients to centers and hospitals designated for this issue.
