Lebanese restaurant just opened in North Naples, Florida!

The Lebanese restaurateur Hassane “Sam” Charaf opened a restaurant called

Phoenician Lebanese Bistro

in North Naples, Florida. The weather, the palm trees, and the beach remind Charaf and his family of Lebanon. The location of the restaurant is perfect since the surroundings allow people to get the feel of the Mediterranean region. For the last two decades, Charaf and his brothers operated three Lebanese grill restaurants in Detroit which is home to one of the largest Lebanese-American communities in the United States. One of his customers advised him to visit North Naples. Charaf and his wife fell in love with the region. On Monday, Charaf launched the

. The restaurant serves authentic Lebanese food and honors the heritage of the Phoenician civilization that people don’t know much about. Charaf, just like his brothers, follows his father’s recipes. The menu’s sections are named after famous Lebanese cities such as Tyre’s Mezza, Tripoli’s Soup, Sidon’s Salads, and Beirut’s Sandwiches.
