The friendly match was held in preparation for the Rugby League World Cup (RLWC), which will be held in England between October 15, 2022, and November 19, 2022.

The Lebanese National Team will play another friendly match against Wales on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in Men’s RLWC2021 warm-up.
