The Lebanese Aziza Sbaity won big time at the 2022 Lebanese National Championship, scoring 5 medals.
Sbaity won 4 gold medals in the: 100m, 200m, 400m, and 4x100m run, and the bronze medal in the 4x400m run.
The victorious athlete expressed her gratitude to “have earned the sprint treble for the second year in a row in what I can only describe as a three-day emotional rollercoaster.”
Previously, the Lebanese athletics team represented by Sbaity set a national record in the 60-meter race, striking a run in 7.47 seconds in the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.
In 2019, Sbaity broke the national 100-meter record at the 23rd Asian Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar, after she crossed the finish line with a time of 11.73 seconds.
