As usual, young Lebanese athletes are performing well in championships abroad and taking the winner’s podium with their skills.

This time, Lebanese Muay Thai fighters shined at the Yerevan Open Muay Thai Championship 2022.

Here are the details:

Zovak Kochkarian and Ali Othman earned each a gold medal, defeating their respective Armenian opponents with points.

Mohammed Hachem also earned a gold medal after defeating the Armenian champion by a knockout in the 1st round.

After winning the semi-final against the Iranian champion and losing against the Armenian champion due to an injury to his nose, Anthony Abou Chedid won a silver medal.

16-years-old Hussein Naous won his 1st match against the Georgian champion and lost in the final against Armenia, winning a silver medal.

Ali Nehme lost his match in the 2nd round against the Georgian champion by withdrawing and winning a bronze medal.
