Lebanese Soldier Wounded During An Attack On The Lebanese Army In Bekaa

A Lebanese army patrol was attacked while setting up a mobile checkpoint on the Al-Labweh Al-Qaa highway in the northern Bekaa in Al-Ain Square.

Individuals traveling in a Kia car fired at the army patrol wounding a Lebanese soldier. Clashes erupted between the chasing patrol and the fugitives, two of whom were eventually arrested.

One of the fugitives, a Syrian national, was gravely injured. The others fled, abandoning the car, which turned out to be stolen.

The search for the fugitives continues as of the time of writing.
