@commando__marines | Khaled/Xinhua

The Lebanese Army just announced that there are 24 casualties from the Akkar explosion among its lines.

2 killed, 4 missing, and 11 are in critical condition. 7 other soldiers were slightly injured and have already left the hospital where they were treated.

The army was present in the area after it had confiscated a fuel tanker and distributed its contents to the people when the tanker exploded.

The Lebanese Army has been working on busting fuel hidden from the public to be smuggled or sold in the black market.

They have been finding fuel storage facilities and distributing them to the public to ease on the people the ongoing hardships related to fuel.

Our team works tirelessly to ensure Lebanese people have a reliable alternative to the politically-backed media outlets with their heavily-funded and dangerous propaganda machines. We've been detained, faced nonstop cyber attacks, censorship, attempted kidnapping, physical intimidation, and frivolous lawsuits draining our resources.
