Armed clashes are taking place in the Al-Sharawneh, Baalbek, between an army patrol and a number of men wanted by the law.
It was reported that rocket shells were heard, which called the Lebanese Army to bring in more military reinforcements with the support of a helicopter.
Five injured soldiers were transferred to Dar Al-Amal University Hospital in Baalbek as a result of being hit by a rocket-propelled grenade during the clashes, two of them are in critical condition.
There were also injured among the wanted men.
