Lebanese Swimmers Scored Big Time At Vienna International Swim Meet 2022

The Vienna International Swim Meet 2022, held between April 28th and May 1st, ended with Lebanese swimmers winning silver and bronze medals.

Organized by the Viennese Swimming Federation, the competition event hosted young swimmers from Lebanon and other countries to participate.

On the third day of the competition, 19 years-old Ramy El Ghaziri scored 58.34 (prelim) and 58.43 (final) for the 100m backstrokes, which helped him win 2nd place.

On the final day (Day 4), Lebanese swimmers scored the most.

Lebanese-Canadian Ramy El Ghaziri scored 27.28 (prelim) and 26.70 (final), winning 3rd place for the 50m backstrokes.

20 years-old Rebecca Mezher also won 3rd place, scoring 59.92 (prelim) and 59.96 (final) for the 100m freestyle, and 16 years-old Jad El Ghazirir scored 2:11.85 (prelim) and 2:10.61 (final) for the 200m IM, which also earned him the bronze medal.
